Resources

In the age of misinformation, it is incredibly important to do independent research. We live in a nation plagued by the weaponization of the media to push propaganda. Most of us are familiar with the quote, “A lie can travel around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.” Pursuing truth is part of what makes us conservatives.

I often get asked about good places to find accurate information about legislation, policy, or simply accurate news outlets! Here are some great sources for you to ascertain the truth.

This is a map of the District 10 boundaries found at the
Idaho Secretary of State’s site.

This site allows you to enter your ADA COUNTY address into a search bar that will show you which precinct you live in.

This site allows you to enter your CANYON COUNTY address into a search bar that will show you which precinct you live in.

This link will take you to the Secretary of State website so you can access and see where each candidate (including me!) is receiving their money (ALWAYS follow the money! Who candidates receive their money from MATTERS!).

Reading bills in FULL is the only way to really know how our legislators are voting. Bill “tag lines” can be misleading regarding the actual content of a bill.

This is another great resource for finding out how members of our legislature are voting.

The Institute For Legislative Analysis Idaho Report

The Idaho Freedom Foundation is a conservative think tank in Idaho. They offer a “freedom index” every session which rates legislators voting records.

The Club for Growth Foundation offers an economic scorecard on our legislature.
